Perkasie, Bucks County
Perkasie Borough is about 15 minutes North/West of the Doylestown area. Prices become much more affordable, and you still have great proximity to Doylestown, excellent schools, and you’re are only 15 minutes to Montgomery County. This page will be a great resource is you’re looking to move to the area and need help finding Perkasie Homes For Sale.
In town living features many charismatic Craftsman style homes, Cape Cod style singles, and Townhomes. Brick and stone exteriors are common.
Downtown has been growing over the last couple of years. New commercial space, restaurants, and shops have emerged. Within the Borough limits, many new construction developments have started. You have Perkasie Woods (Townhomes starting under 300k), Country Ridge (Single homes starting in the mid 300’s), and Hidden Meadows (single homes starting in the upper 400's).
Perkasie, PA is certainly an area great for first time home buyers that want some of the more modern floor plans and efficiency, but who’s budget can’t quite handle the price of Doylestown Borough.
If you are looking for a community with a lot of local events, Perkasie is ideal! So many great things happen all year round…from Santa (The oldest tree lighting in the nation!) to Fireworks to Pumpkins! Biking/Walking Paths are abundant, tons of parks for the kids, Menlo Pool, Dog Park, Farmers Market, fishing in the Perkiomen Creek, and great schools.

This small town packs quite the punch when it comes to fresh, local dining. Maize is my all time favorite for the area. Reservations required, BYOB, but probably one of the best dinners you will ever have. The Perk, Hawkeyes, The Country Place (you cannot get a cheaper, better meal!), and The Down to Earth Cafe are also excellent choices. New in Spring of 2018 is The Ram.
Enjoy everything the larger towns have, with half the people! See what’s happening now! Check out the borough’s calendar of events, too.
